Description

Ingredients

  • Juice from half a fresh lemon
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (raw, unfiltered)
  • 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger (or a pinch of ground ginger)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/4 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the lemon into a glass, removing any seeds.
  2. Add the apple cider vinegar and ginger.
  3. If using, drizzle in the honey.
  4. Sprinkle in the cayenne, if desired.
  5. Pour cold water over the mixture.
  6. Stir with a spoon or shake in a jar until well combined.
  7. Taste and adjust with more water or sweetener if too tart.
