Description
A low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, filled with cheesy beef, onions, and bell peppers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
- 16 ounces ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion (sliced)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until browned and softened. Drain any excess grease.
- Mix in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and well combined.
- On the prepared baking sheet, form 8 circles with the shredded cheese. Bake until golden and lacy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Place a scoop of the beef mixture on each cheese circle. Roll them up carefully and let cool to set.
Notes
Ensure cheese is fully melted for easy rolling. Experiment with different spices and cheeses for variety.
